Jamboree Fees and Payments
The Jamboree fees and payment terms for AJ2013 have been announced. Fees are: $1,495 for Scouts, $1,130 for Venturers, and $1,095 for Leaders and Rovers.

* The Jamboree Fee shown does not include GST. At the date of printing it is expected that the Australian Tax Office will rule that the Jamboree Fee is not subject to GST. However, you should budget for an additional 10% GST ($149.50 Scouts, $113,00 Venturer Scouts, $109.50 Leaders/Rovers). If GST is payable, this will be added to the final payment.
Payments
Scouts
- Deposit:
- $750 due at the Region Office by 15 March 2012.
- Second Payment:
- $380 due at the Contingent Office by 30 June 2012.
- Final Payment:
- $365 due at the Contingent Office by 31 August 2012.
Venturers
- Deposit:
- $750 due at the Region Office by 15 March 2012.
- Final Payment:
- $380 due at the Contingent Office by 30 June 2012.
Leaders/Rovers
- Deposit:
- $750 due at the Region Office by 15 March 2012.
- Final Payment:
- $345 due at the Contingent Office by 30 June 2012.
Scout Group Cheques to be made payable to: SCOUTS AUSTRALIA, NSW CONTINGENT.
Notes on Payment
- All application forms must be sent via your Group to arrive at Regional Office no later than 15th March, 2012.
- To facilitate contingent banking and records management, all payments must be by Scout Group cheque.
- Acknowledgment of receipt of your application and deposit will be by way of Contingent Newsletter No. 1 which will be forwarded to you in May 2012. No individual receipts will be issued.
Late applications cannot be guaranteed attendance at the Jamboree because of the need to finalise Troop and Regional travel arrangements. Any applications received at the contingent office after 31st August 2012 will not be accepted.
Withdrawals
If after making application, you are unable to attend the Jamboree, you must advise your Regional Liaison Leader in writing as soon as possible. A withdrawal form will be available from your RLL. Please ensure that your Scout Leader signs your form. The following charges will apply:

THE CONTINGENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY APPLICATION AT ANY TIME, IN WHICH CASE A FULL REFUND WILL BE MADE. IF THE CONTINGENT WITHDRAWS YOUR APPLICATION FOR NON PAYMENT OF THE APPLICABLE JAMBOREE FEE THE ABOVE WITHDRAWAL FEES WILL BE APPLIED.
